ALBA EVENTS
Throughout the year, ALBA organises various meetings and events. Our
speakers include members of the judiciary, practitioners and academics. Many leading experts
in the field of public law have addressed our meetings over the years. Most of
our events are free of charge with no need for advance registration, and all our
meetings are CPD accredited by both the Bar Council and the Law Society.
In this section of the website, you will find a list of
both past and future events, with details of venue, time
and speakers. For those who have attended earlier meetings, the past events
pages provide a useful guide to how many CPD points the individual attendee
should be credited with. Where available, lecture notes and outlines from the
speakers have been added to the individual entry for each event.
ALBA RESPONSES TO CONSULTATIONS
In our capacity as a Specialist Bar Association, we submit
responses to Government consultation papers whose topics fall within the area of
constitutional and administrative law. A non-exhaustive list of past ALBA

The work that we do is dependent on the support of our Members. This support enables us to continue to organise events and meetings aimed at promoting knowledge in the field of public law and to remain actively involved in current developments in constitutional and administrative law.
